In celebration of Financial Literacy Month, NYSE Euronext (NYX) hosted its third annual Financial Literacy Week. More than 100 guests gathered at the company’s offices in the US and Europe to celebrate, highlight and share innovative approaches to financial capability.

JP Morgan’s American Depositary Receipt (ADR) visits the NYSE. In honor of the occasion, Executive members of JP Morgan’s American Depositary Receipt (ADR) team ring The Closing BellSM. JP Morgan JP Morgan pioneered the depositary receipts market over 85 years ago, introducing the first-ever DR in 1927. JP Morgan provides a full range of ADR, GDR and HDR services to issuers seeking to have their equity traded on exchanges beyond their home markets.

During the ceremony at Beursplein 5 the CEO of Ziggo, Bernard Dijkhuizen, sounded the gong as a start of trading in Ziggo. Dijkhuizen was accompanied by the boardmembers of Ziggo, Cees Vermaas, CEO of NYSE Euronext Amsterdam and all parties involved with the IPO. Ziggo is a Dutch provider of entertainment, information and communication through television, broadband Internet and telephony services.
