DSM DFI (Fibre Intermediates) is one of the sponsors of the 2012 Amsterdam Fashion Week. The decision to sponsor the event was prompted by DSM’s desire to highlight the importance of man-made fibres for the international textile industry, fashion designers and manufacturers. DSM has entered into a joint venture with Tony Cohen, a designer who has used man-made fibres in his collections for many years.

The National Foundation Disability Sports organises the third skating day for all disabled people in the Netherlands and their friends on Sunday January 29, with the help of KPN, KNSB, Flevo Nice, Sportservice Flevoland and Ice-World. Participants can learn more about curling, ice surfing, sledge hockey, sledding or attend a skating clinic with (former) top skaters Annamarie Thomas and Carl Verheijen.
