Jason Kunreuther, Barclays Capital Director of Strategic Planning joined by members of Barclays Capitals management team visited the New York Stock Exchange and rang The Closing Bell® to mark the companys January acquisition of labranche & Co.s NYSE Designated Market Maker (DMM) assignments. The acquisition enhanced Barclays Capitals position as the leading DMM at the NYSE, and followed the acquisition in March 2009 of the DMM rights of Bear Wagner Specialists LLC.
